However, the noontime is not at all recommended for Yoga as it is actually considered as a mealtime. This is not the only reason, in fact, the studies have shown that if you practice yoga in the noon, there are good chances of dehydration.

Note that there should be at least a gap of 4 to 6 hours after eating to practice Yoga.

There is no hard and fast rule, however, Brahma Muhurta considers to be the adequate and most effective time for practicing Yoga.

As per the research Asanas can be practiced either during the mornings or evening, the only catch is that one should be the empty stomach.

According to several studies, practicing challenging Yoga Asanas right before going to bed might trigger the sleep hormones and help you in getting sound sleep.
