Tinda Tomato Vegetable – Tinda Masala Recipe – Tinda With Tomato Recipes
We have prepared tinde ki sabzi in many ways. Today we are making tinde by mixing it with tomato masala. It takes time to cook tinde with tomato, so we will mix tinde and tomato by cooking them in two different pans.
Ingredients – Ingredients for Tinda Masala recipe
- Tinde – 10 (500 gms)
- Tomato – 3 (200 g)
- Ginger – inch piece
- Green chili – 1 or 2
- Oil – 2-3 tbsp
- Green coriander – 2-3 tbsp (finely chopped)
- Cumin – tsp
- Asafoetida – 1 pinch
- Turmeric Powder – tsp
- Red chili powder – tsp
- Coriander Powder – 2 tsp
- Fennel Powder – 1 tsp
- Salt – 1 tsp or as per taste
How to make Tinda Masala with Tomato
Wash and dry the tinda well, peel it and prepare it. Make 7-8 pieces of each tinde, while making long pieces, cut all the tindas and prepare them.
Make tomato-green chili-ginger paste and prepare it.
Put 1 tbsp oil in a pan and heat it. Add 1/4 tsp cumin, 1/2 asafoetida, 1/2 tsp turmeric in hot oil, add tinda and tsp salt and mix, now add 1/4 cup water, cover, slow and cook for 5 minutes. Let it cook on medium fire. Check the tindas and cover them again and let them cook.
Prepare the masala
by adding oil in another pan and heat it. When the oil is hot, add cumin, asafoetida, turmeric powder, coriander powder, fennel powder and fry the spices lightly. Now add tomato-green chili-ginger paste, mix, add red chili powder and remaining salt and fry the spices until oil starts floating over the spices. Masala is ready after roasting, add cup water and mix it.
After this time the tindas are cooked and ready, check that the tindas have become soft, add them to the spices and mix them well, add green coriander, mix and cover the sabzi and let it cook for 3-4 minutes.
The vegetable is ready, take it out in a bowl and garnish it with green coriander. Serve hot tinned tomato curry with chapati, paratha, naan or rice and eat it.
