Quick yoga poses for lower back and joint pain relief – Yoga is one of the healthiest practices that can help a lot in maintaining and achieving a healthy body. It was one year back when I was continuously experiencing pain in my lower back and joints, on a recommendation by some of the fitness experts, I started my practice of Yoga.
Honestly, I did not know back then how helpful this process will turn out to be. It is a year now and my lower back pain and joint pain is like it was never there.
Here are some of the yoga postures that helped me cure my lower back pain and joint pain –
- Reclined Pigeon (Stretch)
Reclined Pigeon is one of the most common Yoga stretch postures that helps the muscle surrounding the lower back and hips stretch relieving the tension in the muscles. This is the stretching exercise that will help relax the hip and lower back muscles.
2. Reclined Twist
Following the Reclines Stretch is Reclined Twist. This is the form of the stretch that helps stretch entire back. Not only this, but this stretch also extend benefits to the hips and shoulders. This Yoga posture will definitely stretch and relax your muscles while relieving the pain you suffer.
3.Warriors 1 and 2
Both Warriors 1 and 2 are one of the strengthening the lower back muscles and joints. This is one of the effective postures that help take the strain off the knees and hips especially. This will also extend the benefits to the back muscles.
Plank is one of the best exercises that should be done every day. This exercise benefits overall body and strengthens the muscles in the body. Shoulders, core, wrists, as well as back muscles, get benefited from the regular practice of plank.
Remember, Yoga is not an easy practice to get a hold on. It took me 6 months to get the postures right, so do not be disappointed if you are not able to do the yoga postures accurately.
