Glowing and healthy skin is every woman’s dream. You must take care of your skin. This habit is not only fit for the facial skin, but it increases one’s confidence. And everyone compliments them seeing the radiant glow on the face.

While following our daily routines, be it household chores or office works – we all forget to take care of our skin. And when we worry about them, we end up using those chemical based creams that provide short time reliefs and long-time harmful side effects. In the mid of all these comes Ayurveda. Ayurvedic contains tons of tips for glowing skin. Few of these are:

Include fruits & vegetables in your diet

Learn to eat fruits and vegetables that have a high water content in them. They are easy to digest and quick in providing numerous health benefits. They have lots of nutrients that purify the body internally, thus keeping the skin glowing from outside.

You should include vegetables & fruits such as cucumber, berries, papaya, radish, carrot, etc. in your diet since they are tridoshic. It merely means that they are beneficial for all kinds of skin.

Drink lots of water

Nothing beats the power of drinking enough water throughout the day. Since our body is made up of 70% water, therefore it is a healthier approach to keep facial skin healthy.  It not only saves you hydrated but prevents your skin from getting oily, clearing the pores, maintaining its moisture, nourishing it regularly – thus it plays a significant role in making our skin glow.

Learn to use moisturizer properly

It’s true that water plays a vital role in keeping the whole body including our facial skin hydrated, from inside.  It’s equally important that you take care of your skin from outside – so that it remains glowing. Cleanse it thoroughly and apply a good quality moisturizer from time to time. It is the most crucial step to keep the skin bright and young. Apart from this, oils such as coconut oil, lavender essential oil are also good moisturizers. Apply it at least twice a week.

Do yoga

It is one of the healthiest habits not only to keep the skin glowing but also the whole body. We are living in times where the stress level is too high, and it directly takes a toll on our skin. Apart from these, lack of sleep, high intake of junk food, etc. habits also harm our glowing skin. Therefore, yoga is a healthy habit to curb all these. Meditation & breathing techniques are some of the proven ways to control stress. It regulates blood flow, makes the breathing normal and lets our skin breathe well.

Use face packs

Nothing beats the power of face packs in providing glowing skin. Depending upon your skin type, you can apply various face packs such as Chickpea Flour + turmeric face pack, Chandan powder face pack, Multani mitti face pack, etc. These face packs exfoliate the skin, removes dead skin cells and other impurities and reveals the skin layer which is full of glow and healthier.

These are some of the Ayurvedic tips for glowing & healthy skin. You need to follow them religiously to avoid any skin related issues.
